Summary Statement: |
MINISTRY OBJECTIVE
My objectives are to
answer God’s call to preach and teach His Word; to
evangelize and grow His church; and to love and serve Jesus
Christ by loving and serving the body of Christ.
I pray God will use me
to lead and serve in people’s lives, just as Jesus did. I
believe a pastor should do this in a one-on-one ministry, at
the most individual level. Events and programs are great,
and necessary for pre-evangelism, but I believe the church
needs pastors they can know in a real, personal, and
emotional way – pastors who, although not perfect, exemplify
God’s grace and mercy as they walk with their members, in
the footsteps of Jesus. |

STATEMENT OF FAITH
I believe God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He
always was, is and always will exist in three persons: The
Father, Son and Holy Spirit, co-equal and one God.
Jesus Christ is the Son
of God, born of a virgin; wholly God and man. He lived a
perfect and sinless human life and offered himself as an
atoning sacrifice for the sins of man. I believe He died on
the cross, arose from the dead three days later, and
ascended to Heaven and He will come again to judge all men
and rule for eternity.
I believe the Holy
Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He
lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation and
provides the power for living, understanding of spiritual
truth and guidance. He gives every believer at least one
spiritual gift.
The Bible is the Word of
God, inerrant and supernaturally inspired. It is just as
relevant today as it was when written.
Salvation is God’s free
gift to us. It is unearned and freely given by the Father
to His children out of love and mercy. We have Jesus’
assurance that nothing given to Him by the Father can ever
be taken away. Once we are His our salvation is
everlasting. To receive it we must confess with our mouths
and believe in our hearts that Jesus is lord.
I believe Heaven and
Hell are real places where everyone will exist eternally.
Those who accept the forgiveness and salvation of God
through the blood of Jesus Christ will have eternal life
with Him and the Father in Heaven. |
